Amazon's FBA program is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for small to mid-size businesses to increase both sales and exposure to a larger market. Choosing to sign up with FBA is a solid business decision for most. You can gain access to offer free shipping and would have the opportunity to sell to Amazon Prime customers.
There are, however, some negative sides to Amazon FBA program. There is a lack of flexibility and you would have to agree to have your customer order filled according to Amazon’s stringent guidelines rather than your own terms. If you do not agree to or violate their terms you risk being fined or having your products returned to you. You may even get barred from participating in the FBA program.

Compliance is non-negotiable with Fulfillment by Amazon. The rules are strictly enforced and, if not followed, can result in your products being refused or returned, even disposed of by Amazon. They may also assess additional charges and fines to your account. There is a real chance for this program to become cost-prohibitive if you let things go out of hand.

Customers are only charged for the orders we process and send to Amazon on their behalf. If you don’t send anything in a given month, then there are no charges for that month. If you only ship 5 packages the next month, then you will pay only for 5 items. There are no hidden or extra fees involved – EVER!
